This registration is for the basic pistol shooter and anyone else looking to brush up on skills, or even take a step forward towards achieving instructor status (this course is a pre-req for basic pistol instructor). The two hour live fire portion of the class will be held at Nassau County Pistol and Rifle for the final two hours of class. During live fire students will get hands on practice performing the skills and knowledge obtained in class. Once registered please be on the lookout for a welcome email. ***YOU MUST HAVE A VALID PISTOL PERMIT TO TAKE THIS CLASS***
***IF YOUR LOOKING TO GET YOUR CONCEAL CARRY FOR THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT, NRA BASIC PISTOL IS AN APPROVED PRE-REQUISITE COURSE FOR YOU APPLICATION. THE CT CURRICULUM CAN BE ADDED FOR $45 TO THE NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE. Any CT Applicant must hold a valid CCW License from the state in which you live and is on your license***
